PCSimGuy hits 3,000 views on YouTube!!!
It’s been over a month since my last post, and what a busy month it has been! I’m thrilled to share some incredible milestones and updates with all of you.
PCSimGuy Milestones:
Surpassed 3,000 YouTube views
Gained 24 new subscribers
Accumulated over 60 hours of watch time
Posted 14 long-format videos
Hosted 2 livestreams
Uploaded 16 shorts
A huge thank you to all the viewers, subscribers, and commenters for your time and support in growing PCSimGuy!
Software and Equipment Upgrades: Over the past month, I’ve tested multiple recording and streaming software options to find the best fit for PCSimGuy’s content. I’ve settled on Streamlabs due to its features, performance, ease of use, and capabilities. You may have noticed issues with aspect ratio, frame rate, and resolution in past videos, but Streamlabs has solved these problems, ensuring all videos are in crisp 1080p on any device!
For editing, I’m sticking with Adobe Premiere Pro for long-form content while using a tool from Streamlabs for shorts. Additionally, I’ve upgraded my microphone from a Blue Snowball Ice to a Shure MV7, and the quality improvement is noticeable.
Looking Ahead: Starting in July, I’m committed to keeping the website and social media updated with all postings and news. The Schedule page on the website now shows the upcoming week’s content plan, and I’ll do my best to keep it updated regularly.
June was incredibly busy, not just with learning how to stream, edit, and post content but also in my personal life. My sister gave birth to a baby boy, and I’m about to head to the Northeast for a family reunion. Plus, my regular job has been demanding. Balancing everything can be challenging, but I’m dedicated to posting content regularly.
Thank You! Your support and the growth we’ve seen in our analytics motivate me to work harder and post more. I’m eager to build a community with PCSimGuy and welcome your input, constructive criticism, and advice. I’m also seeking help with our social media, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and Discord. While I’m not monetized on YouTube yet and don’t have sponsors, this is an opportunity to be part of something from the ground up. Who knows where this journey will lead?
